This past weekend we had the joy of making the trek up to New Hampshire to photograph my sweet cousin Laura's wedding. I was so happy that she asked us to come and be a part of this day!
I grew up in New Hampshire and love every chance we have to get back to the area. We spent the weekend visiting with family. I showed my boys the places that were the backdrop for my life growing up (the homes! The playgrounds and baseball fields! The restaurants and donut shops! The grocery stores and church buildings!) I feel like I have all these dramatic things I want to say, just soaking it all in for a few hours immediately filled our minds with the best memories. I feel so grateful. My mom and dad gave us the sweetest life. Our days were spent together, joyful and adventure-filled. We got to explore and play, and learn and follow along as mom and dad brought us alongside them as they invested in big house projects and ministry and sports and special days and community and extended family and every aspect of our little lives.
Laura and her family were a big part of those memories. Our families shared a lot of life and sports and field trips together. Cousins make the best friends. I've loved getting to know Anthony a little bit over the past few weeks—from their engagement shoot (just two weeks ago!) to this day. Laura and Anthony have a joy and ease together. Such a sweet thing to witness. It was a beautiful day. Congratulations you two!
